I’ve just had some pieces cast in silicon bronze by Outcast in
Seattle (excellent work). My problem is that they have arrived
dead-soft. How does one harden silicon bronze? Heat and air cool? Heat
and quench? Slow heat, and hold? If any of these, to what
temperature/colour? mark shier
