Hoover vs Stuller palladium sterling

Hello Everyone,

Both Hoover and strong and Stuller offer versions of the palladium sterling alloy. Hoover offers the more generic sounding “palladium sterling silver” whereas Stuller offers their “continuum”. Do these alloys differ significantly in terms of firescale resistance, tarnish resistance, melting point, hardness, working properties etc? Since the two companies seem to have very similar gold alloy formulas, I am assuming their silver alloys would be no different…interested in hearing what everyone has to say,

Thanks, do the tarnish and firescale resistance differ much between the two?

I checked with the metal folks at Stuller and they feel there are about the same.
