Cary James: Thanks for your input on tip sizes. Your suggestion
about “making it yourself” is great, since I enjoy making equipment
almost as much as making jewelry. Both activities involve making
something out of nothing.
Soldering pen and pencil tips on the torch tips sounds good. In
thinking of other sources for a variety of sizes, I thought of
using the needles of medical/veterinary syringes, which come in a
variety of sizes and lengths. Although I use to work with them all
the time, I don�t remember just how small the openings were, but
it seems like they would also work to make some precision tips. Mike
