I see that the Harbor Freight 1/8" Micro Die Grinder is on sale once
again; item 47869-4VGA @ $9.99. True it’s not the finest high speed
grinder in the world, but it works. They claim 56,000 rpm @ 90 psi
air pressure. At speeds like that a little carbide bur gives you
incredible control with no sense of pressure. Of course you need to
use only cutting tools that are designed for the high rpms.
I still have brass bushings to fit both 1/16 and 3/32 burs in it’s
collet, FREE to any of you who wish to get the grinder and commit to
making a contribution to ORCHID (perhaps the best site on the WWW).
