Help reading old Japanese or Chinese Calligraphy

Hello Orchid:

Is anyone out in Orchidland able to read old calligraphy? I think it
is Japanese but am not sure. It is on the bottom of a vase that is
supposed to be about 150 years old. If you can help me please
contact me off list and I will send you a JPG image of the writing.
