Haystack Weekend Workshop

Hello all,

Last weekend I taught a workshop for the Maine Crafts Association at
the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts on Deer Isle, Maine. The
workshop covered both the Keum-boo process and making blanking dies.
Randy Smith supplied a set of his wonderful pyrex burnishers that
were a huge hit with my students! Contact him at
randysmi@mindspring.com for purchasing details and look for an
upcoming article from him about his burnishers in Lapidary Journal.
Tevel at Allcraft, (800) 645-7124, sent a box of goodies that
included 24K gold foil and some fabulous new neckrings. One of my
students showed up with a rotational bench pin from Christopher
Darway darwaydesign@earthlink.net that made cutting blanking dies
a breeze.

I am so grateful to these people for sharing their ideas and
abilities with all of us and adding so much to our experience! Thank
you!!!

Best regards,
Jayne Redman
