competitions. The DeBeers and many other companies that sponsor
competitions will emphasize no cast jewellery will be accepted.
You can be the greatest carver and designer in wax and make only
one of a piece, but the word cast seems to have a negative
effect. But companies like QVC and Value Vision have found a
way of putting glamour in the process of casting. They will
