Also, we have a lot of repeat buyers for the 3M Vetrap Bandaging Tape as an alternative. It's protects the fingers and yet it's easy to feel the piece being worked on.
I use Vetrap all the time when buffing and have never had the
problem of the color rubbing off on the piece. The Vetrap keeps my
fingers from crisping and gives me great control of even very small
pieces when buffing. I love the stuff and buy it by the case.
