I picked up a set of auto body work tools from the Harbor Freight
outlet store here in St. Louis for 19.95 and with a little elbow
grease, sandpaper, polish and buff I gave the hammer heads a shinny
smooth finish that works great for working metals. The kit also
came with 4 dolly blocks that I also cleaned up to use as shaping
mandrels. Cheap, good, and did I mention cheap??
