I’m curious if anyone has examples of sterling hallmarks/fineness marks from Belgium. I recently received commission casts done in Belgium, and they’re marked (which was NOT discussed, and not appreciated) with a hallmark. The caster says he was doing me a favour, but I am highly sceptical that the marks are legitimate, as they’re nothing like fineness marks I’ve seen on Belgian sterling before.
Does anyone have any examples I could compare with?
