Green slime on silver after melting in kiln?

Ok, I was melting some silver to make some ingots and when I poured the silver I had this hard green slime scale on my silver. So I melted again and poured into water and this stuff hardens and sticks to my silver. What is it? How can I get rid of this?

Green? That probably means that it’s colored by copper This looks like flux that has absorbed a copper salt Pickle should remove it
