This weekend I had the opportunity to see a wonderful show of
Southwest and Northwest first nation jewelry called " Totems to
Turquoise" at the Vancouver Museum (http://www.vanmuseum.bc.ca). If
you are anywhere near this exhibit go see it. A excellent exhibit of
these two native cultures jewelry work. I spent several hours
enjoying all the fine work in this exhibit, do yourself a favor and
go see it if you get a chance. It is in Vancouver through the 25th of
March. It is then heading to Indianapolis at the Eiteljorg Museum of
American Indians and Western Art May 12 - Aug 12 2007.
