Graphite pens from Stuller

Hi there,

I’m a small, individual studio artist. I cannot qualify for a
Stuller account. Some things that you can get at Stuller, like the
pen mentioned earlier this week, would be so awesome to have! So, I
have three questions:

  1. Are there any bulk buying groups out there that I can join so I
    can order from Stuller?

  2. Are there any artists with accounts who wouldn’t mind helping out
    some of the jewelers who cannot qualify for a Stuller account and
    process the occasional order?

  3. Are there other major distributors like ballou, etc., that have
    bulk buying groups?

Any help or would be appreciated.

I have a store front and I order from Stuller. You can contact me
off line to process and order.

Hi Lynn, Please call Stuller again, and explain that you do not want
a stone account, but only a tool and metal account. If the person
answering the phone says no, then ask for their supervisor. Stuller
caters to jewelry stores, and they want to protect those stores from
having their customers be able to buy direct. So, they have different
kinds of accounts. Stuller has MANY phone people, and not all of them
seem to know this.

If you are still unable to get an account for tools, please do let
me know. I’d certainly be glad to help out a former student of mine.

Lynn, I’m a small, individual studio artist and have a Stuller
account. It took some time to get it, but I finally managed to speak
with the right people. Their prices are wonderful.

THANK YOU to everyone who responded to my post. Stuller has
established an account base for the bench jeweler and I am so
excited! I signed up right away. Now a few of the other large
companies need to do the same.

Kudos to Stuller. They have been an excellent supplier for me, even
though my needs are modest and intermittent. BTW, the new tool
catalog I recently received has me lusting! Planning to try the
special “Panther” cup burs… among other things.

Judy in Kansas, where the ongoing triple digit temps are becoming
tiresome! Gotta keep the turtles happy, so the soaker hoses are
running a lot.

Stuller offers a Bench Account… With a Tax Id Number… This would
allow you to buy from tools, packing and findings… Any question
