Linda, as I’m sure you know lots of stuff can go wrong when making
granulation, a patina or casting an object. So the idea is to
control as much of the process as possable, so that the results
will be consistant and repeatable. So thats why I recomend
distilled water, but unless there is something seriously wrong with
your water, any water will do. I use tap water myself! I also
don’t use white out, I hate it, but I seem to have a knack for not
overheating things, lots of people swear by it(the whiteout).
