Oh my… people’s lives are so often different from what they seem
from the outside! Noel, the photo of your teapot prompted me to
privately email another Orchidian to praise the piece and to reflect
on the days when younger and when in grad school, when I could give
time to and had the energy for complex pieces. And when I worried
less about making a living! I envisioned you to be at that age/stage
of your life, and now you tell us how you too struggle along,
balancing the needs of family, finances and creativity. You may be
struggling privately but the lively and generous spirit evident in
your posts and in your work demonstrates that you make the very most
of every breath that’s been gifted to you. Keep on!
