From time to time over the years, I have monitored EBay looking for
used jeweler’s tools of good quality. It has typically been like
looking for a needle in a haystack. However, during the past couple
of months I’ve noticed that this has changed. There appear to be
more professional jewelers retiring and/or closing and more of these
tools are showing up on EBay than in the past. Perhaps this is
predictable with the current economy. So anyone who has tool needs
may find it worth their time to look on EBay over the next few
months.
