I mistakenly bought sterling silver (non-returnable) charms for a 14K
yellow gold bracelet. The bracelet is a family heirloom to be given
to the child of a deceased mom at a milestone in the daughter’s life.
I have called several places asking about quality plating for the
silver charms. The places I have contacted say that they only do 24K
and that it doesn’t last. I looked up Red Sky Plating on the Ganoksin
site but the reviews were lukewarm and that worries me. I work in
metals but I don’t have a plating capability. I hope you can
help and thank you ahead of time. Love this site! Dottie

Mold the charms and cast them in gold.
I can recommend Metal-Craft Electro Plating here in NY.

I’d chalk it up to a learning experience, and give the client what
they wanted. The silver charms can be stored for use later, or can be
melted.
