Gold plate type finish over Sterling Silver using Aura 22?

Is it possible to acheive a gold plated type surface by painting something like Aura 22 onto Sterling Silver? I’ve never tried using Aura 22.

I am making Sterling Silver charms. I’d like the option to offer them in a gold finish. I don’t want to do my own gold plating and my quantities are too low to use a plating service. My thought is that I could apply the Aura 22, fire it, burnish it, and polish it carefully. Has anyone tried this?

I’m starting to experiment with Aura 22. The instructions (from Rio Grande #600-800), indicate it is to be used on fine silver or depletion gilded sterling.
