I just checked and it is this month that the article about making a
gold and silver combined sheet is in Lapidary Journal. It’s called
"Incorporating 24K into a Sterling Piece. Although a rolling mill is
used, I think that if you are good with a hammer, it could be forged
and planished out. It’d be a job though.
