Near the end of May, I’m going to Copenhagen for a week-long
conference, then to Sweden to visit relatives, and to Germany to
visit friends. Does anyone have suggestions for jewelry-making
things/people to see? I have heard of Pforzheim and Idar-Oberstein
and may go there. I am most interested in work in base metal/silver
(I don’t work in gold–I love it, but it’s too expensive for the
larger pieces of jewelry I produce). I don’t have much time in
Denmark to go outside of Copenhagen.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I remember someone mentioned
the Swedish Prymus (?) torch – do such torch heads fit on American
fuel tanks? Thanks in advance!
