Gems for high school jewelrymaking instructor

I’m a high school jewelrymaking instructor and have need of
approximately 10 lbs of mixed inexpensive cabachons per year. I have
used two contacts in the past and would like to search out some new
sources. Anyone having suggestions please contact me. Details can be
discussed off list if desired.

thanks

Hi, I did not see the original post, but I do have @89kts of cut
gemstones that I got from a wholesaler/dealer, and I will not be
using them. I do not know anything about the value of these stones
or their cuts–so if you can use them please contact me. Some of
the stones have definate flaws and nicks–perfect for students to
practice corrective measures.

You also might want to try Waliga’s. They are outside of Prov. They
have vintage glass and a room for semi precious gems.

Be careful what you buy there. I went to their building once - a HUGE
warehouse, full to the gills - but only 1 tiny side room contained
genuine stone materials. Everything else was glass, plastic,
porcelain, etc. Which is fine, if that’s what you’re looking for. Few
genuine cabs, but there were some very interesting beads.
