Dear All, I got out of my studio today and went down to the freeway
area to look at the show. I hit the LaQuinta Inn where I found one
room of specimens and 3 rooms of Native American and Old West
artifacts. Then I went to the Days Inn where the gem show was in
full blossom. Yesterday, Wednesday, was cold and rainy but today is
clear and 50 ish (beautiful). The forecast is increasing temps up to
70’s for the week end. Days Inn was Tucson Gem Show at it’s finest
(freeway style) Many people & dealers, from Moroccan fossil to
Oregon sunstone and all the junk and higher end any rock nut would
want. The show looks great if these two places are any indication.
