Gas pressures?

I am returning to the bench after several years away. I have an
oxy-propane midget torch and cannot find in my notes what pressures
to use with the gases. I have 2-stage regulators and vaguely
remember something in the 30psi range, but am not sure and don’t want
to fool around. I would welcome suggestions for either or both
gases. I fabricate silver & gold jewelry and small scale metal
objects, and do torch enameling. Thanks for your help.

Linda,

If you keep your gas pressures to between 2-5 psi, you will find it

much easier to work. Melting happens a little slower, and there’s far
less firescale. 30psi is better for melting.
