Does anybody know how to make debubblizer for lost wax casting?
I know it’s pretty simple, and I rather not spend a lot of money
on it.

I take 50% distilled water, 50% methyl hydrate (solvent alcohol like you
buy at the paint store) and add a couple of drops of Photo-Flo or
dishwashing liquid or a small drop of shampoo (contains sodium Lauryl
sulfate, an ingredient in many comercial debubblizers).
I use it by dipping the piece in or pouring it into the flask over the
piece and out again part way through the investing process so the alcohol
is still there when I poour the investment in.

About 3-4 years ago I was in a hurry one day and failed to use debubblizer.
I do vacuum my flasks, however. Since that day I cut my rejects by about
80%. Seems that my experience has been that debubblizer actually weakens
investment.
