Trish McAleer, noted Metalsmith and Author of the book, “Metal
Corrugation”, will be giving a free lecture and slide presentation
on Friday April 20, 2007 at 7pm in the Art and Design Bldg. at
Maryville University. Maryville University is located at Highway 40
and Woodsmill Rd. in St. Louis,
Anyone is invited to attend; it should be an especially interesting
evening for Metals Students as well as Master Metalsmiths.
Come, meet the artist. If you have her book, bring it along and she
will sign it for you.

Metals Corrugation Lecture by Trish McAleer
Remember that this Friday evening, the 20th, will be the free
lecture and slide show by Trish McCleer, our weekend workshop
instructor.
This lecture is open to the public at no cost.
The lecture will be held in the Art and Design Building at Maryville
U at 7pm. If you are signed up for the workshop, it will be very
helpful for you to attend and see what you can do with the
techniques you will be learning at the workshop.
All SMM members are invited to attend and you may bring friends
along too. Spread the word to non-member artists in interested in
metalsmithing. I would really love to see a good turnout for this
presentation. It is a compliment to the visiting artist.
