Dear All,
Arizona Designer Craftsmen is sponsoring a workshop with Fred Woell
in sunny Tucson on March 27th & 28th. Students will be working in a
variety of waxes and other materials to design and make lost wax
castings. Fred Woell will demonstrate a do it yourself approach to
equipment and techniques, including ways to make your own burn out
oven. An inexpensive alternative method to vacuum casting will be
shown. The majority of work will be done by the steam casting
technique, but other types,including sling casting will be covered.
This workshop is for beginners as well as advanced students.
