So now my flexshaft isn’t working. It works fine in reverse, but will not go forward. I can’t imagine it has anything to do with the brushes or the shaft since it works fine in reverse. I suspect it might be the switch is bad, but I am open to suggestions. I sent Foredom an e-mail too but they aren’t open until Monday. Thanks everyone for your help!
Hello BernieJohnsonJunk, its sounds like one of the contacts from the motor to the speed control might not be contacting properly, try unplugging and plugging back again a few times, this might do the trick. Is this the Foredom motor that has (4) prongs? Regards, Richard Lucas…LUCAS DENTAL CO.
