Fold-forming workshop in Calgary in July

There are still places available in the fold-forming workshop I am
teaching this summer in Calgary. We designed it so that it runs
Mon-Thurs with the Friday being the Stampede parade day and the start
of Stampede, Calgary’s two week Western party. All welcome… And
you get to visit my studio and home at the end of the workshop.
Accomodation at a neighboring college dorm is about $25.00 a night,
and there are hotels etc nearby.

It is worth checking out our whole ACAD workshop program, which
includes making body jewelry, tattoo flash design, rhino software and

Here is the description from the catalog of the fold-forming
workshop.

Fold Forming Course Code: EXJW 009X1

Learn fold forming from the source. Fold forming is an innovative,
quick, easily learned way of shaping sheet metal with hand tools.
Forms are derived from the natural plasticity and ductility of the
metal. Lewton-Brain invented fold forming, now internationally
recognized as a completely new way to work metal. Shaping is
extremely efficient and rapid (many take 3 - 7 minutes working
Time:). Tools are simple: fingers, hammers, anvil and mill. Complex
relief forms are made from sheets of metal often on one annealing.
They resemble chased constructed and soldered forms and can be made
with most metals, including steel. Monday to Thursday, July 5 - July
8 (28 hours), 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
