Online i have seen stones been burnished in place in a flush setting with some kind of drill press.
I’m talking about a small factory line where the same size of stones repeatingly is set and burnished in place real fast.
Does anyone know where to find this type of tools?

Busch makes a carbide burnisher called Ramroller, never use it but looks like a faceted round bit, there are a few types.
A different tool is the so called Roller Burnisher used by metal parts production people, the one I know is a cylinder with rollers mounted like half a roller bearing, mounted in a drill press is used to burnish inside diameters to a very fine finish. The same device can be used to burnish an outside diameter by mounting the rollers on the inside of the tool !!
