I have heard 12 ways to finish amber! I have tired at least 4
with no success. Also, how do you tell a DECENT piece of amber
when it is RUFF??? Understand it ONLY takes 15/20 minutes to
finish a piece of amber???

You can get a mirror finish on amber after all your cutting and
smoothing steps (the amber needs to have a very fine prepolish)
with your fingertip and toothpaste. This worked on a faceted 300
carat stone.
