Hi,
In Asia (mostly India) a lot of gold jewelry is made of hollow
shapes and then filled with shellac (lac) to keep them rigid and hold
up to wear. I wanted to see if anyone on this forum has knowledge of
how this is done.
Is it regular shellac that we use to hold pieces for setting that is
filled on the inside?
What is the technique for filling the shapes with the shellac?
Thanks in advance,
HB
