Here is a recent series of discoveries for the handling of
solders.

Color code both sides of sheet solders with a Sharpie
permanent marker before clipping: Red for hard, Black for
medium, Green for easy. -
Instead of using solder snips, get a pair of those solder
clippers, the kind that nibbles a rectangular chip off the
sheet. These are great because the metal does not curl and its
size is controllable by the bite you take. -
Use a 7 day plastic pill case, with 4 compartments per day.
Store the clipped solder in the compartments, organized and
labled by metal, fineness, temperature and color.
When soldering the sharpie ink evaporates, leaving no residue.
