Got caught in a bind yesterday. Needed to electroplate a piece for a
customer and had misplaced my fingernail polish for block out. The
customer was on her way and I needed an alternative. I grabbed the
Sharpie pen off my bench and went to work with my fingers crossed.The
thought was that if it worked as a blockout for acid it would work
for plating. It works. Clean up with a little alcohol was easier than
with acetone and nail polish. Thought I’d pass the info along. Frank Goss
