Favorite burnishing soap in tumbler?

Hi Margaret,

What do you like to use as polishing soap? I tumble for much longer
and would like to cut the time down.

Thanks,
Betty

Hmm…I’m curious about what everyone uses as well. I have a magnetic
pin tumbler and just use dishwashing liquid…I think “Dawn” is the
flavor of the week here! I tried the powdered soap that came with my
machine, but didn’t like it much.

Something better out there??

Best~

Jeff Blue Magic or Magic Blue is actually one of several regular
Ultrasonic cleaning solution that is being sold by Romanoff has been
known to be good for Magnetic Tumblers. It is similar to Ultra CR by

I’ve been using a drop of Dawn liquid with a tablespoon of Vigor-121
polishing compound powder to 1 cup of water with my stainless
mixed-shape shot in my little rotary tumbler. Takes me about 20 - 30
minutes on an average size piece to get a really nice polished
luster. I really like the Vigor compound.
