I have a customer who wants a gents family crest ring (signet
style) in yellow gold. Does anyone know of a company that does
this? If so I’d like thier phone number (USA)

Do you mean a company that will find a family crest? Or does
your customer already have the design?

Heraldica in NYC does crest carvings- on your signet ring or
they will supply one. The carving quality is passible. Perhaps
someone knows a truely great engraver they can reccomend.

Wendy, There is a company in New Jersey that specializes in that
type of ring. I have a catalog that has a large selection of very
well done rings. Unfortunately, that catalog is in my office at
home. I will pull the number tonight and post it in the morning.

Ricky Low a orchid subscriber is a hand engraver and if you give
him a copy of the crest he can engrave it on a signet ring for
you either as a signet or as a wax seal. just ask him. he is
very good at this and has done several rings for me. Hopefully he
will see this post.

I haven’t found a web site for this firm, but we have found that
they do consistently good work on crest rings, which a number of
our wealthier customers collect and/or give as gifts. I believe
