There are now some basic notes about possible rhodium alternatives,

However it is all very speculative at present - the last thing we
want to do is to start a scare.
Please let me have any further and in particular if any
of you have clear evidence of manufacturers offering alternatives to
rhodium finishes - such as chrome etc. I will post any significant
news or analysis results here on Orchid and on the JPM network.
