Rob & Brennan, you are not alone. I mean, another fascinating tool that can turn out such beautiful things. But…good sense needs to kick in at some point.

One thing I am really tempted to do is to dig for sunstones (and opals), about a 6 hour drive for me. Maybe some day.

That’s just amazing. It was at 9 minutes 46 seconds into this video:
which is @ 42 minutes long and is almost entirely about the geology of sunstones, not as much interest to jewelers.
Loved my faceting classes at Tuscarora(?) Lapidary Society…too bad the Ultra-tec is like 6k and going….
