Anyone have any experience with this setup? Or does anyone use
anything else? I have a lot of filings that im always sifting and
melting so I figured this might be easier and less time consuming
It’s O.K. as long as your gold alloy doesn’t have silver over 5% in
composition. If this is the case, you must add copper until the
silver ratio drops under 5%. I also doubt that the final purity
exceeds 99,95% as they say. I have refined some batches and it
usually goes to 22 KT.
Anyway, be sure to have a well vented room when you make the
precipitation.
