Experience with LaserStar laser welders

Does anyone have experience with LaserStar laser welders? A
representative on her way out of town stopped by the store yesterday
with her sales pitch. I compared the specifications with other
companies’ models and it measures up favorably. Has anyone used this
machine for a while, and are you happy with performance, flash lamp
life, etc? Thank you.

Check out Zahntech far superior product. Google the name they are
out of LA. I have one of their machines it has a larger box and you do
not have to replace filters or consumables other than distilled
water. I did a ton of research before buying mine and they had the
best unit out there. Regards

I have been looking at lasers at shows for years, and was coming to
the same conclusion, among other things because they have a ceramic
chamber it is not damaged in use and does not need replacing as
others do. A note is that in discussion at a March show in New York
they were thinking about stopping selling to jewelers because their
industrial sales were so strong, and the time and effort needed to
sell to jewelers was much greater than that needed to sell for
factory and production uses. (jewelers apparently complain about the
price, haggle, etc while the big users just write a check for
multiple units at once), not that I, alas, can afford one…
