The Central Arkansas Gem, Mineral, and Geology Society is having
their 35th annual show this coming weekend, October 6 and 7 at the
Jacksonville Community Center (north of Little Rock).

The hours are 9am to 5pm both days.
There will be over 30 vendors (all indoors this year) with minerals,
fossils, beads, lapidary material and tools, jewelry, cabochons,
decorative items such as spheres, eggs, and carvings, and much more.
There will also be demonstrations and a Fun Kid Dig.
A state geologist will be on hand Saturday and Sunday between the
hours of 2pm and 4pm to help identify your minerals and rocks.
