As a bench jeweler of 35 years i had really mixed feelings when my 18
year old youngest daughter walked away from a substantial
scholarship, dropped out of of a fine liberal arts college after one
semester and announced she wanted to be a jeweler. Now she is
completing the graduate jeweler program at Revere Academy in S. F.
and looking at the next step. She is interested in European
apprenticeships which we know very little about. If anyone with
knowledge or experience of this can [provide it would be
greatly appreciated. We are interested in what the costs might be,
visas required, contacts of opportunities, length of program and
that sort of thing. Her first choice would be Scotland but we are
interested in other places as well.
