European 18K gold solder

Hi All–

I’ve been lucky enough to have been using European 18K gold solder
(from Amsterdam) for years. It’s really fabulous–seems to flow
much more easily than the stuff I get in the US. Do any of you have
suggestions about really good USA gold solder? The place in
Amsterdam doesn’t export to individuals.

have you tried hoover and strong??? telephone is 800.759.9997 they
have an 18k solder called ROYAL yellow in addition to their plain
old 18k yellow solder… I think you may like the color match better.
Its only available in one temp which is pretty hard --flows at
1535.F. Good Company with good service.

…sounds like it contains Cadmium. I won’t use cadmium containing
solders, I like the Hoover & Strong solders the best.
