Hi there I am wondering if anyone has experience photo etching on silver (anti-tarnish varieties such as sterlium). I am wondering if it will work the same way as 925 or argentium would. I have read several opposing views, msds sheet on the chemicals used etc and their safety and health effects. Is one safer than the other health wise?
Is Electrochemical etching on silver with silver nitrate safer that etching with Ferric nitrate?
Saw a demo on Rio grande website of the setup they sell. Is the process the same (ie how you prepare the metal, apply image etc)?
