Etching silver with ferric nitrate

Unfortunately, since I only purchased my Ferric Chloride from
Radio Shack the first time I needed the product and never since, I
don't know what they are calling it now.

In my area, it’s labelled: “PCB Etchant Solution.” In smaller
letters it says “contains ferric chloride.” I don’t know if Radio
Shack is still carrying it – I have leftover bottles still on hand.

Since this question comes up regularly and the dumb wits that Radio
shack seems to be employing know more about consumer toys than their
stock… I went and checked on line at radioshack.com

Yes it is available and if you go see your local dumba** and tell
him you want SKU # 276-1535 (Hopefully he may be competent enough to
type it into his computer, if not ask for the manager or go to a
different store). Yes it may not be in stock, but he can order it on
his next weekly order.

And since we always suggest people know what they are playing /
working with, the MSDS is at
