I’m trying to learn steel and I’m starting with etching my contigo
travel cup. So far the etch wiped in with ferric chloride is not as
nice as I had hoped. I want to color or patina now so etch will
stand out. I saw a video of using a butane torch slowly on a vapor
mod and can color steel to go and then purples. Can anyone advise me
with stainless steel?
