[Enamel Bits] Enamel Supply Places

#1

There are some other places, but as they just re-sell Thompson
enamels & stuff, I haven’t listed them. The place to get
copper–sheet, spun & stamped, kiln trivets, stainless steel,
aluminum, etc. is:

American Metalcraft, Inc., 2074 George Street, Melrose Park, IL
60160-1515, all phones: 1-708-345-1175 AMI appears to be the
source from which other metal catalogs get their offerings.

For British Enamels: Allcraft Tool & Supply Company (mail order)
60 S Mac Questin Parkway Mount Vernon, New York 10550 Tel: (914)
667-9100 or (800) 645-7124

Amaco Ceramic Supply (should have the ceramic pigments) 4717 W
16th Street Indianapolis, Indiana 46222-2598 Tel: (317) 244-6871

European Enamels: Bovano of Cheshire PO Box 250 South Main Street
Cheshire, Connecticut 06410 Tel: (203) 272-3208 or (800) 847-3192

Enamel Emporium 113 Meyerland Plaza Houston, Texas 77071 Tel:
(713) 667-6999 They sell some copper pieces, & I’m not sure what
else, possibly Japanese enamels.

Frog Hollow Studio 519 Holloway Avenue San Francisco, California
94112 Tel: (415) 586-8725

Thompson Enamel (although they only sell unleaded to the hobby
market, they have lots of books about enameling) PO Box 310
Newport, Kentucky 41072 Tel: (606) 291-1849

Enamelwork Supply Co. 1022 NE 68th Street Seattle, Washington
98115 Tel: (206) 525-9271 or (800) 596-3257 They carry Shauer &
Ninomiya enamels, plus other fun stuff. Wonderful to work with!
