I am currently struggling with the same problem, compounded by the
need for both a slide, and an electronic image. I would also
appreciate any you all can offer.
Marrin, There are a number of commercial processing labs that will
deliver to you a mounted set of slides plus a CD ROM with the slides
scanned to extremely high resolution. Lower resolution scans are
also available at slightly lower cost (if desired). I have use Dale
Laboratories in Florida. http://www.dalelabs.com/ They do an
excellent job at a very reasonable price. Friends have also used
Seattle Film Works and like it very much. But I have not personally
used SFW, so I can’t vouch for them. Hope this helps…Bob Williams
