I recently purchased a new face shield. Instead of throwing out the
old one, I attached it to a 4" elbow and now have a new articulating
accessory for my polishing enclosure:

This works especially well for polishing jewelry, flatware and small
holloware.
All particulate is sucked back and away from the user (though, I
still use a respirator:
Society of American Silversmiths).
When buffing the interiors of holloware or refinishing candelabras,
I can always remove this accessory, use others, or just use the
collecting entrance in the back of the enclosure.
