I’ve been constructing metal jewelry for 15 years. Learned the basics from Penland School of Crafts in N.C. Before that I had obtained an associate degree in art from the Greenville Museum of Art School in Greenville, SC.

My main interest is originality and spontaneous expression. My latest skill has been in lapidary work. I use sterling silver, copper, and bronze which I’ve etched, usually. Nature is an important inspiration.

Materials: sterling silver, Chinese Writing Stone
Dimensions: 2 1/2" long, 1 1/2" wide

I have cut and polished the stone then set it in a hand fabricated sterling setting. Cold forged the wire bar on top and wire wrapped it to the pendant.
