[Dublin] Jewelry Attractions

A few months ago there was a thread about where to go to see
jewellery in London. A lot of good suggestions came up, and I’m
positive Amy O’Connell had a good and buzy week in London chasing
around to some of the places, which Orchidists recommended.

My wife and I will be going to Dublin in May and would like to hear
if there is any of you good and knowing people out there in the
Oracle Land of Orchid who have suggestions about where to go and see
jewellery (museums and galleries) in Dublin. Tried to find something
both on the net and in ‘lonely world’ but did not find much. Any hint
would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards from springtime Denmark, where the rain is pouring down
(at least today).

Almost forgot: be sure to check out the Irish national museum’s
fabulous exhibits of ancient Celtic jewelry. The shop, alas, has no
low-cost replicas as do most in U.S. and the British Museum-- just
pricey gold and silver copies. Great books, though!

Irish national craft guild or somesuch has a lovely display shop down
in Temple Bar. Grafton Street area abounds in jewelry-craft art shops.
